Evan Lu
I'm an independent consultant based in Houston, operating through Magus Consulting LLC. My background is in data strategy, analytics infrastructure, software design, and organizational transformation. My approach is shaped by years in both industry and consulting roles across engagements spanning high-tech, public sector, education, financial services, healthcare, energy, restaurant technology, and more.
I founded AnyDiner, a restaurant technology platform that is the culmination of my experiences in figuring out what people actually need and building what people actually want to use. This experience is constantly reflected in how I approach client work: multiple POVs in product design and project delivery as a leader, developer, designer, and user.
Today, I look for projects with organizations that are looking to fill multiple gaps with a single hire. They need someone who understands the full arc - from data infrastructure through analytics delivery, to UI/UX design to organizational adoption - and can execute across all of it.
